Stanley Dale Garrett, 80, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 22, 1928, the son of the late John and Hazel (Flake) Garrett. He served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal during the Korean War in the 24th Infantry Division. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Ebert) Garrett; two daughters, Dorothea (Jeff) Collier, and Denise Wiles; a son, Gaylan Garrett; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; a sister, Jackie (Aubrey) Woods; a brother, William (Phyllis) Garrett.Friends are invited to call Saturday, December 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Chapel Rock Christian Church, 2020 N. Girls School Rd, Indianapolis with service to follow at 12.
